Haven Valley Farm horses are active competitors in both United States Dressage Federation (USDF) and United States Eventing Association (USEA) recognized competitions.

BRONTE HVF



Dutch Warmblood (KWPN), Foaled 2006, 16.2 hands by Contango(Pref.) out of Katrina x Roemer(Pref.) Bronte HVF is a beautiful, homebred mare with a lot of presence. She was started under saddle late, due to being bred as a 3 year old to Jazz(Pref) producing Geluk HVF. She exceled in Eventing and quickly made up for lost time. She moved up to training level within 3 competitions, and demonstrates abundant jumping talent matched with bravery and speed, making her an ideal top level Eventing prospect. Bronte is a beautiful mare with plenty of talent, she is certain to have a winning career! Bronte is currently competing at the CIC/CCI* level, with plenty of scope to move up.

GELUK HVF



Dutch Warmblood Stallion (KWPN), Foaled 2011, 16.2 hands by Jazz(Pref.) out of Bronte HVF x Contango(Pref.) Geluk HVF as a foal finished in the top 5 for Dressage foals in North America for the KWPN, as well as was Champion Young Dressage Horse as a foal at his KWPN keuring. Geluk started his competition career in Ocala at 3 ½ years of age the winter of 2015. He was presented at the USEA Young Event Horse Symposium in Ocala and received high praise from the judges. He competed thru the USEA Novice level his first year out and behaved remarkably well at all his outings for a 4 yo, not to mention a young stallion! He completed his first season by finishing 7th at the 2015 Young Event Horse East Coast Championships at Fair Hill, he was 9th nationally and was also the highest place stallion nationally. Geluk is both a promising young event horse and stallion for the future of equestrian sport. He has a super temperament, tremendous amount of talent, and a fabulous work ethic.

UREAUS



Dutch Warmblood (KWPN), Foaled 2001, 16.1 hands by Metall out of Gralda(Elite Pref.) x Purioso(Keur) Ureaus is an expressive, bay gelding with a beautiful head and neck. He was imported as a three-year old from the Netherlands by Haven Valley Farm. He has exceptional movement in all three gaits, and is a highly sensitive horse, making him a fantastic top level dressage prospect. Not only does Ureaus have great physical attributes, but he has a very unique personality, and is affectionately called “Curious Ureaus” around the barn, due to his zest for life! Ureaus has competed successfully through 3rd level dressage, with placings at top USDF recognized shows around the Midwest, including Lamplight, IL. While dressage is the primary focus for Ureaus, he is also competing successfully as a three-day event horse.

ACHATEZ HVF



Dutch Warmblood (KWPN), Foaled 2005, 16.0 hands by Contango (Pref.) out of Katrina x Roemer (Pref.) Achatez HVF is a handsome, homebred chestnut gelding with lots of chrome. He is a true gentleman, with a fantastic temperament making him a real pleasure to train. 2010 was Achatez first competition season and it was a superb success, not that anything less was expected. His success was a true demonstration of the expectations we have of horses that are broke and started at Haven Valley Farm. His results include: 1st with a score of 70% in Open division, Training level, at Copper Creek, MI- USDF Recognized 1st with a score of 69% in Open division, Training level, at Copper Creek, MI- USDF Recognized 2nd in Beg. Novice division, finishing on dressage score, at Cobblestone H.T., MI –USEA Recognized 1st in Beg. Novice division, finishing on dressage score, at Hunter’s Run H.T., MI –USEA Recognized

RETURN ABROAD



Thoroughbred, Foaled 2011, 16.0 hands by Sweet Return(GB) out of Study Abroad x Wheelaway. Return Abroad, affectionately called "Fancy" in the barn for her white socks and stripe, making her very eye catching. Fancy was bred in Florida and raced in New Jersey before being retired as a race horse. She was given down time with the HVF herd before being restarted as an event prospect. She boasts plenty of Irish, French and British thoroughbred blood, which should make her an ideal xc horse. She has an incredibly sweet disposition and is a pleasure to work with. Fancy will be heading to Ocala for the winter of 2016 to start her eventing career.

HERTZEN HVF



Dutch Warmblood (KWPN), Foaled 2012, 16.1 hands by UB 40 out of Precious Tango HVF x Contango(Pref.) Hertzen was started under saddle in the fall of 2015, she was a pleasure to break and looks to have a very quiet and willing temperament. She is a lofty, elegant mover, with a powerful hind leg. Hertzen will make a lovely dressage horse, though she will most likely dabble in eventing as well! She will begin competing in the summer of 2016.

Dutch Warmblood (KWPN), Foaled 1997, 16.1 hands by Contango (Pref.) out of Katrina x Roemer (Pref.) Precious Tango HVF is a beautiful, sweet, homebred bay mare, with the presence of her daddy, Contango. Tango is a lovely mover with exceptional jumping ability. She has fantastic scope, technique, and form over fences. She competed successfully through the Intermediate level of Eventing with many wins at all levels. Some career highlights include: 2005- 3rd at CCI*/National Championship, Mid-South Three Day Event Ranked 5th in USEA Area VIII for year-end awards, prelim division Ranked 10th in the nation for USEA year-end awards, prelim division 2006- 1st at Hunters Run, MI, Open prelim division 1st at USEA Area VIII Regional Championships held at Richland Park, MI, Open prelim division 8th at Middleburg, VA, Open intermediate division Ranked 4th in USEA Area VIII for year-end awards, prelim division  
After being used as a broodmare, Tango is now semi-retired and is being used as a lease horse.
