Haven Valley Farm bred their first Dutch warmblood in 1994, four generations and almost 20 years later we are still breeding quality Dutch horses. The primary objective in our breeding program is to produce top level prospects for the disciplines of Dressage and Eventing. Stallions we have bred to include Roemer (Pref.), Contango (Pref.), Jazz (Pref.), UB 40, and Bosch Blue. These stallions all are world renowned, and have produced outstanding offspring competing at the Grand Prix levels of Dressage and Jumpers, as well as offspring competing at the Advanced level of Eventing.


We make a point to match each of our mares with the best possible stallion in the world. The Dutch mares we use must also meet our high expectations, including correct confirmation, exceptional temperaments, and successful in sport.


Dutch horses have been ranked by the World Breeding Federation for Sport Horses [WBFSH] as the number one producers of both Dressage horses and Jumper horses for years. And they have been steadlily climbing the ranks within the Eventing studbook. Making Dutch horses the ideal equine partner for the discerning rider wanting to be successful in competition.

Geluk HVF is an outstanding stud colt, and exudes many of his sire' s prominent qualities. His sire, Jazz (pref.) has been ranked by the WBFSH as the number one producer of top performance Dressage horses for years, Jazz also has a number of offspring competing at the upper levels of Eventing.


Geluk HVF was presented as a foal at the KWPN keuring and did remarkably well. Judges remarks were ' Geluk HVF was a well-developed with a beautiful expression and correct foundation. In movement he proved to be the top foal. Geluk was powerful, had good leg technique and rhythm that was memorable. He easily earned a first premium, was the champion young dressage horse and took the lead as the dressage foal to beat [in the North America keuring tour]. ' Geluk finished in the 2011 Top Fives, ranking number 4 for dressage foals in North America.


Additionally, Geluk has a wonderful temperament. He is a perfect gentleman for all his in-hand training, he stands patiently in the cross-ties, he bathes, clips, and trailers.
